The Solar potential calculator designed to help customers self-assess the possibilities of establishing an individual solar power plant. The tool helps to accurately measure the technical parameters of the roof (area, proper slope, direction, slope, etc.) and predicts what solar power plant can be installed as well as how much it would cost and what the retribution would be according to the needs of consumers.
The calculator combines geospatial, solar irradiance, LiDAR (laser imaging, detection, and ranging), orthophotography maps and meteorological data to reveal the solar potential of every building roof.
Currently, the tool is available in Vilnius city and county (partially).
